We've introduced a new Emission Factor column to both the Scope-Based Analytics and Category-Based Analytics pages.
Previously, users could view activity data and calculated emissions, but it was not possible to directly see which emission factor was used in the calculation. With this enhancement, users can now easily review the emission factors for each source type directly in the analytics tables, providing greater transparency and traceability in emissions calculations.
To keep the analytics tables clean and easy to read, emission factor values displayed on-screen are rounded and shown with a limited number of decimal places.
However, no precision is lost in the underlying data.
When users export analytics data to Excel, the full emission factor value is included in the downloaded file. This ensures users can access the exact value used in calculations for detailed analysis, reporting, audit, and verification purposes.

We’re introducing Emission Audit Report, a reporting output designed to support audit, validation, and transparent review of emissions data.

This output provides a detailed, source-level emissions report in Excel format, allowing teams and auditors to review how activity data, emission factors, and calculations are applied across sources.
The report consolidates raw activity inputs, calculated emissions, and referenced Global Warming Potential values, emission factors and libraries into a single, traceable structure.

Before an independent assurance engagement, a sustainability team exports the Emission Audit Report and shares it with auditors. Auditors can review factor sources, verify calculations, and test sample data points directly in Excel.
2. Internal Quality Review
An internal reviewer compares fuel consumption entries against applied emission factors and identifies inconsistencies (e.g. incorrect factor library usage). The issue can be corrected before final reporting.
3. Multi-scope Reporting Review
For organisations reporting across multiple scopes/categories, the report allows reviewers to quickly distinguish GHG Scope 1, 2, and 3 or ISO Category 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 emissions and assess completeness at category level.

We’ve completed an independent web application security verification across the Faradai Carbon and ESG Management Platform.
The assessment was conducted by BTYÖN Technology A.Ş., a certified penetration-testing provider accredited under the TS 13638 Information Security Testing Standard, which is aligned with global frameworks such as OWASP 4.2, NIST SP 800-115, and ISO 27001 practices.
The scope covered all major platform components used by enterprise and consultant accounts:
All previously detected findings — including critical, high, medium, and low-risk items — were fully remediated and re-validated by BTYÖN on 25 September 2025.
The verification confirms that Faradai’s web and API layers meet strict security controls for access management, data integrity, and information disclosure prevention.
Faradai will maintain annual third-party penetration testing alongside its ISO 27001 surveillance audits to ensure continuous protection of client and partner data.
